There are so many companies to choose from when searching for insurance for motor trade. It's mind-boggling it really is. There are endless options, quotes and statistics it's almost impossible to get your head around it. But what I can't understand is; why would anyone want to insure me? surely i'm a liability. For a start, i've had 14 accidents in 2 years on my forecourt alone. It's quite embarrassing to tell the truth. I may be a fantastic salesman, businessman, general man. But i'm an awful driver.
For me, getting insurance for motor trade is like looking for a piece of hay in a huge stack of needles. insurance, for motor trade, hmm, why would any company want to promise to pay for any issues i create when it's almost a certainty for me to create a great deal more issues than the average person.
I have 17 cars on my forecourt currently. I did have 26, but 9 of them are away with my team of engineers having panels buffed out and wing mirrors replaced after suffering the terrifying experience of having me behind the wheel. To be honest, they don't deserve the trauma. It's like putting a baby in charge of a nuclear war. They can not possibly survive the ordeals. emphasis on the plural.
Seriously though, if insurance for motor trade wasn't compulsory, i would be fine, the best in the business surely. A hugely successful man strutting around in an Armani suit and driving a Mercedes Benz to the chip shop. However, coverage IS compulsory. However, unfortunately for me, it isn't compulsory for any company to give me my insurance for motor trade. That's why most of them tell me to get lost.
The employees at these insurance companies must have so many laughs at my expense. Every week i'm back on the phone, pleading, begging for insurance, and sure enough, week in week out the answer remains, no. Well, not just a simple 'no', oh no, that isnt sufficient for those heartless fiends, hiding behind the 6000 miles of telephone wire between them and I. They lead me on, get me excited, propose options for me before spontaneously erupting into a fit of abuse where they mention several phrases to explicit to repeat. It's disgraceful. Clearly, they don't actually say these things, but i can tell they want to, its obvious. Couldn't be more blatant if they tried. I'm no mind reader, but i can sense their anger.
But never mind, i'll have the last laugh. I'll get some insurance, and i will smash up a few more cars at their extortionate expense.
