He placed the most gorgeous diamond cluster ring onto my third finger. It dazzled under the office lights as I showed it to my colleagues. I remember last weekend. He said come on lets try rings on, they aren't to know we are not going to buy. Let's just try on anything we like. I had chosen this one as my favourite.But we did it as a youthful giggle. Although he could afford it ,money wasn't a problem .He had a successful business. I still thought it was no more than a joke. Now here I am engaged to the man of my dreams.

'Thank you John, thank you so much' and I hugged and kissed him as the applause took off again.

'Well everyone , you will all be invited to the wedding so ladies buy your hats and blokes hire your tails' John announced proudly 'I am going to marry the most gorgeous girl in the world.'

'Right you two take the rest of the day off Jane. Get yourselves away and start buying the dress while we all get back to work'

So we did, we left the office building and laughed and kissed as we walked by the Thames.
